Honor Wall

The Honor Walls feature the names of Lee County, Texas veterans.

It is our mission to make sure that the sacrifices of our Heroes will not be forgotten for generations to come.

Each wall contains 12 Georgia Grey Granite tiles measuring 20 x 20 x 2 thick, engraved with names for an approximate total of 6,000 names. Names are engraved in random order. 


There is no charge to have an eligible name placed on the Honor Wall.

Please download, complete and return the Information Form (link below).


Eligibility

  • Have a connection to the Lee County area; residency is not required. Possible connection may include: family, former resident, lives in surrounding area. 
  • Honorably discharged from one of the recognized branches of the U.S. Military: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Merchant Marines (WWII 1940-1945), or Navy
  • Have an assigned DD214 or equivalent, or DN204 number or other acceptable verification of honorable service* except for military service prior to 1870, for which a historical document or record proving service is required. All documentation will be verified. DD214 needs to be be filed with the Lee County Clerk's office.**


Inscriptions
Will list the name (first, last) as shown on military ID

Will not list branch of service

Will not include groups

Will not contain graphics
